I’m relentlessly curious and strive for excellence. I deliver measurable impact through content, by translating insights about your audience and market into an approach that achieves business outcomes.

As a strategist-doer, I get things done: from the initial strategy work through to making sure it is implemented well. This tends to involve managing complexity and people, as well as content. Depending on the project, this might involve influencing executive-level stakeholders, supervising multidisciplinary teams, and building effective cross-functional relationships.

My professional journey has taken me from the daffodil-fringed quad of a Welsh university, to leading projects in London and Washington DC. I've been incredibly lucky to have led content strategy across a wide range of sectors: tech, finance, government, non-profit, and enterprise. Along the way I’ve worked with some outstanding colleagues who have challenged me to do better, provided divergent viewpoints, and inspired me.

Outside of my professional life, I spend my time hiking in Virginia and further afield, experimenting with landscape photography, and cooking. I’ve recently taken up kayaking and am enjoying getting more confident on the water. One of my current challenges is to complete the Virginia State Park Trail Quest, visiting all of their parks.
